Stempathy (TU Dublin) is seeking to employ a Senior Research/Assistant/STEMpathy Teacher Training Champion.

The STEMpathy project is a student centred, cross-curricula, design thinking process for primary school children with five distinct stages: DEFINE, EMPATHY, IDEATE, PROTOTYPE and SHARE. Children use compassion, storytelling, creativity, art and communication skills to develop innovative solutions to everyday problems which they then present to their community at the end of the process. The post holder will work with the STEMpathy team to develop a range of detailed curriculum guides for the STEMpathy process that will guide teachers in the implementation of the STEMpathy process in their classrooms. The post holder will then work with the team to develop a range of resources and techniques that will be used as part of the teacher training process.
